By cleaning the roof of the building, and having a ceiling vacuum, you are removing a major attractant for “new” rats By cleaning inside and vacuuming the ceiling you are also removing any rat breeding and living areas You are also removing a possible source of disease. The old droppings eventually break down to form dust, and this dust will enter your house via the light fittings, cracks and joins in the ceiling, next to the walls – carrying all the bacteria with it.
